Founded 1984 as "Our Products are Useful Software" (OPUS), the name was quickly changed to Dingledork Software upon discovering there was already a company called Opus.

From 1984 to 1998, Dingledork Software made games in BASIC for the Apple II+/e and IIgs. (List forthcoming in a future update)

From 1998 to 1999, Dingledork made games in QBASIC for IBM compatibles. (List forthcoming in a future update)

Starting 2004, Dingledork was brought back to make RPGs using RPG Maker XP, for Windows compatibles. However, only the Doom Project was completed, and that was only meant to be a demo.

In 2006, the name was changed to Destructosoft because it sounded cooler. Also, Destructoons is our official name for the Flash cartoons that will eventually be made.

Destructosoft remains committed to working on and bringing you fine content in several fields and genres.
